* At 927 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over East Orange,
moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to trees and powerlines.
* Locations impacted include...
Bradford, Corinth Corners, Orange, Topsham Four Corners,
Washington, Wells River Village, Ryegate, Corinth, Newbury,
Topsham, Newbury Village, Groton Village, Groton, Vershire, West
Fairlee, Chelsea, Fairlee, Wells River, Newbury Center, and South
Ryegate.
This includes Interstate 91 between mile markers 97 and 116.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,
you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
