* At 453 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
near Bellflower to over Swiss, or along a line from 12 miles east
of Montgomery City to 8 miles south of Hermann, moving east at 40
mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

Montgomery City, New Florence, Bellflower, Hermann, Jonesburg,
Warrenton, Hawk Point, New Haven, Truesdale, Innsbrook, Wright
City, Troy, Marthasville, Washington, Moscow Mills, Wentzville, New
Melle and Union.
This includes the following State Parks...
Deutschheim Historic Site, Cuivre River State Park and Graham Cave
State Park.
This includes Interstate 70 in Missouri between exits 170 and 210.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and
large hail.
Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.

hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
